My stay at this hotel was simply fantastic! The rooms were lacking in customer service but had a well-fitted kitchen, although there were too few utensils. The location was great, centrally located and perfect for exploring the city.

The hotel was in a brilliant location, right near the town centre. It only took me 5 minutes to walk into the city, and the picturesque walk along the river was a highlight.

The hotel was a great find! The rooms were spacious and clean, with a charming four-poster double bed that our 7-year-old daughter adored. Definitely recommend this place to others and will be returning when back in York. The only downside was that the rooms needed a bit of a refresh in terms of paint and furniture, but overall, everything was well taken care of and spotlessly clean down to the smallest details.

The hotel is also conveniently close to parking options in nearby residential bays. Excellent value for money and a prime spot in town.

I absolutely loved my stay at Yorkshire Sweets! The hotel is right in the center, which was fantastic for exploring. The rooms were spacious and had a lovely four-poster double bed, perfect for a comfortable night's sleep. The service was outstanding, with always-friendly staff. The location couldn't have been better, just a short walk to all the main attractions. The dining experience was a delightful treat, especially with the tasty traditional regional products. Highly recommended for a memorable and enjoyable stay!
